2012 07 President's Message

As legal administrators, we have a lot of responsibilities to both our attorneys and our staff.  None of those responsibilities are greater than ensuring the safety of the people in our offices.  This Thursday, the Mile High Chapter luncheon will focus on CPR Certification.  But did you know that there is much more to this training than the actual CPR process?  As people in our offices grow older we are faced with heart attacks, strokes, and other issues.  This session will teach you how to:

1.    Recognize and respond to the signs of a stroke;
2.    Recognize and respond to the signs of a heart attack;
3.    The proper use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
4.    Awareness of employee allergies that can lead to Anaphylactic Shock
5.    The use of an EpiPen; and of course
6.    The newest techniques for administering CPR. (it's changed over the years)

This is an excellent session to bring or send staff members who work closely with older and at risk attorneys.  Don't miss out on this life saving opportunity.  Register Today!
