Thank you for participating in the 2016 Presidents’ Award of Excellence program. As you know, this program is actually a performance guideline meant to encourage chapters to take effective and collaborative action in support of ALA’s mission to promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the legal management team; improve the quality of management in law firms and other legal service organizations; and represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large.

ALA Headquarters staff reviewed all entries and selected a few at random for a closer “audit”. Now that the review process is complete, chapters are being notified of their results so that there are no surprises at the Awards Dinner in Los Angeles.

I’m happy to report that the Mile High Chapter has met the necessary requirements to receive recognition this year. Attached you will find electronic icons that can be used on your chapter’s website, newsletter and wherever else you deem appropriate. These same images are available in alternate file formats if needed. You may begin using these icons immediately.
