HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014!
Welcome to the 1st edition of Member Madness. I hope everyone's new year is off to a great start. There are a few changes on the horizon for this year, please be sure to read through the information below!
What's New for 2014?
With the start of every new year comes the chance to implement some of those New Year's Resolutions. The Mile High Chapter is no different. Here's a look at just a few of the new things coming in 2014:
1. Officer Elections - The Chapter Nominating Committee is busy at work conducting due diligence on another terrific pool of potential new officers for the 2014-15 Board Year. Pursuant to the Chapter's Bylaws, the Nominating Committee will recommend a slate of officer candidates to the Chapter's members for consideration. Be on the lookout for the ballot which will be emailed to you no later than January 15, 2014 (see pages 6 and 7 of the attached Bylaws).
2. Webinars – All webinars for 2014 will be offered to ALA members directly through a partnership with Thompson Reuters and will no longer be offered by the Chapter.

01/16/2014 – Monthly Luncheon – Understanding Body Language with Anna Conrad
02/20/2014 – Monthly Luncheon – ALA Membership & You! Understanding your Benefits presented by the Membership Committee. The luncheon cost is being subsidized by the Membership Committee and is free to members.
February 2014 – Business Partner roll-out meeting. If you have vendors that you would like to see become Mile High ALA Business Partners for the 2014-2015 board year, please send me their contact information, so I can make sure they are invited to this very important meeting.
