CHAPTER BYLAWS AMENDMENT PASSED

Thank you to all of our members to who reviewed and voted on the Chapter’s Bylaws Amendment prepared by Missy Hirst.  The voting was open from December 17, 2019 through January 2, 2020 and the voting was unanimous to pass the amendments to the Bylaws.  A special thanks to Missy for all of her diligent work to help get our bylaws updated and compliant with the Association.  You can find a copy of the executed Bylaws on our Chapter’s website.

CHAPTER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Mark Neighbors sent out an email November 22nd regarding the Mentorship Pairings in the Chapter.  If you have some interest in finding guidance, finding a resource, or just want a friendly face to meet at our events, we would love to have you in our program.  If you are someone with guidance, resources and a friendly face, let Mark Neighbors [email protected] know you want to contribute and we will get you paired up.

Its Renewal Time with ALA

It’s that time for ALA Association membership renewal – the deadline is January 31, 2020.  Don’t confuse this with the Chapter dues that are due and payable in August/September each year.  In order to be a member of the Mile High Chapter, you do have to be a member in good standing of The Association.

As always – the Chapter is here for you.  Have questions about your membership or what perks or delightful opportunities can be accessed as a member, please reach out to me or any member of the Board for more information.
